It’s official. This Topshop leather biker gilet is the new love of my life. I tried to get my hands on it the first time around but it completely sold out so when I heard it was just back in stock last week I snapped it up quicker than you can say jammy dodger.
Have you heard of the three-piece rule? It’s a smart trick from turning an otherwise run of the mill outfit into something a bit more put together and interesting. Your first and second piece is your top and bottom and your third can be a jacket, blazer or some sort of statement accessory…adding on a fourth and fifth piece takes you to a whole other level. Or so they say. In short, this is my new third piece! It somehow manages to take a plain old outfit and turn it into something a lot more interesting and edgier with minimal effort, wouldn’t you agree?

What’s your thoughts on leather biker gilets/waistcoats? Love them or hate them?
Oooh I hadn’t really thought all that much of leather gilets but this is something else! I’ve been after a nice sleeveless jacket as I think it would look great with so many outfits, will keep my eye out for a nice leather one too x
