BATTY ABOUT BOOTIES…TOPSHOP BOOTIES!

So I think it’s fair to say that I’ve gone a little crazy when it comes to boot shopping lately…3 pairs in 6 weeks is bad even for me!! What can I say though, Topshop have hit the nail directly on the head when it comes to these beauties and I could easily buy another 3 pairs right now…but I won’t (pat on the back for willpower).
I’m not even going to spend any more time rambling, onto the good stuff…
Topshop Arabel cut out buckle boots – I have to start off with these ones because literally, I have fallen head over heels in love with them and have been dying to get my grubby mitts on them since I saw them online months ago out. It might not be a surprise to some of you that I now have these as I mentioned them in my February Wish List, and initially wanted the studded ones (actually I still want these) but they are completely sold out everywhere!  When I visited Topshop last week though, and was told by the sales assistant that they had one size 4 left in the plain leather I had to have them – plain leather is better than nothing I thought at the time, but now I absolutely love them – they are just so versatile. I love teaming these with rolled up skinny jeans, skirts and chunky knits, and can even see myself wearing them in summer to play down the girliness of some of my summer dresses, if you know what I mean? They are kind of punky too which I love, but not too ‘un me’ – LOVE THEM!
Topshop Athena boots (similar here) – these were my first purchase around 6 weeks ago (when I had gone into Topshop to get the studded Arabel boots only to be told that they were still sold out). Naturally, I couldn’t leave Topshop empty handed so a snaffled these beauties up and they haven’t left my feet since. The chunky style means they can be worn casual, but then the gold eyelet detailing and the fact that they are suede means they can be easily dressed up for a night out.
Topshop Astrix boots – the main thing I love about these is that they make me TALL and are so comfy, I can’t even tell you.  I wore these last Friday for the first time and was on my feet the whole day, and although by 9pm my feet were slightly ‘burny’ I think this was due to the primark socks I was wearing so these get a huge thumbs up from me! The fact that they are canvas too is an added bonus as it makes them a little more casual even although they have a big heel, not to mention the platform at the front means they don’t even feel high when they’re on. They are also extremely easy to clean so on miserable weather days I will be opting to wear these over my suede booties to save them getting ruined.
So now that I have shared a little bit of the craziness in me over booties, I am off to contemplate my actions, maybe a browse online…see if any other booties tickle my fancy (I joke!)

What do you think of these boots? Did I make the right choice with the plain Arabel boots or should I hold out for the studded ones???

They run true to size I’d say! I am a UK size 4 but have really slim feet, was worried these would be too big but they are actually only a little wide (which I normally find anyway!) They will be the best purchase you have ever made hehe πŸ˜‰ xx

Hi! The Athena boots have just come back in stock (I’ve waited months!) and I was just wondering if they’re true to size? Thanks
