I got to heat it up, doctor got to heat it up…please excuse the cheesiness, just thought I’d share a little outfit post from last weekend and as you can probably tell by now, I went to see Girls Aloud!
When it comes to music, my taste is extremely mixed, and although I can say, hand on heart, that I don’t listen to Girls Aloud on a regular basis, man do I know every word to every song (how is that even possible?!) The concert was great! It’s been a while since I have been out with my closest friends all being able to make it at once, so this made the night even better – being able to talk our usual rubbish, laughing at the most silly things and dancing the night away. By the time we left the concert my feet were killing me (not as bad as one of my friend’s though who had to stop off home for a quick shoe change before we headed out to continue the night!)
Anyway, onto the outfit…I am absolutely loving this bright lime green dress from ASOS. I got this a few weeks ago and have been dying to wear it out so last weekend was the perfect occasion! The tunic style is so comfy, and so is the material. There is also a gorgeous little ‘tree’ print all over. I love how this can be dressed up so easily with a statement necklace and wedges or dressed down with some tights, chunky boots and a big cardi.
I got my gold spike necklace from River Island – post here, and slipped on some wedges from River Island too.
Lastly I finished off with some delicate gold/rose gold bangles I got from Etsy that I absolutely LOVE (my wrists are tiny and you can actually choose your sizing for these – I chose 6 inches which was the smallest size and they fit perfectly). I chose one that says ‘love’ and another one for me and the boys initials…the next one on my list is ‘Oui’ 🙂
What do you think of this outfit? Would love to hear your thoughts 🙂
Ps. How jealous am I of Girls Aloud?! I almost didn’t want to put up the photos, they are all so gorgeous! Ha
