This is a new item I have recently added to my night time beauty regime and I absolutely love it – you know one of those cleansers you actually look forward to using at night before slipping into your cosiest pj’s and making a cuppa (or is that just me?). This is the first time I have ever used an oil based cleanser and I am a bit wowed by it to tell you the truth.
It is a gel texture, and once applied to the skin it turns into an oil. To use, I apply a small splodge to my cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. I then massage this into my skin and down onto my neck – the texture is gorgeous and feels so luxurious on my skin. It smells great too! Next, I splash a small amount of warm water onto my face and the oil turns to a light milk which I then rinse off. Lastly, I get a muslin cloth and with warm water again I use this to make sure all traces of makeup is removed. I then finish off by splashing some cold water on my face.
This cleanser removes all traces of eye makeup but I still love using my Bioderma beforehand then move onto cleansing my face with this (this is just my preference though, the cleansing gel is still great for removing eye makeup and is very gentle on the eyes). I also enjoy using this in the morning before I step into the shower because it leaves my face feeling so soft before applying makeup.
I am actually quite surprised this is only £19.50 as I have been using this for around 3 weeks now constantly and have hardly made a dent in the 125ml tube so I think it is really good value for money too.
