So…I am well and truly on the lip butter band wagon!
There has been a lot of hype around lip butters, and I have been wanting to try the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters for a while now so whilst having my weekly wander in Boots this week I decided why the hell not.
The lip butters come in a variety of 20 different shades and contain mango, shea and coconut butter which is said to boost lip moisture by 156% and provides a sheer to medium colour.

Wearing Raspberry Pie – built up to give a deeper colour |
Boots currently have a special offer on these at £5 instead of £7.99 so naturally I had to pick up 3 to try them out:
· Creme Brulee 095 – this is the lightest of the three and is a very sheer golden nude colour which is great for everyday wear and I will probably wear this a lot to work
· Peach Parfait 025 – this is a light pinky peach colour that is more glittery than Creme Brulee and looks similar to my natural lip shade only better
· Raspberry Pie 010 – this is my favourite of the three, and is a medium raspberry colour with no glitter. It is more pigmented and easy to build if you want a deeper colour and gives a lovely glossy finish.
I cannot fault these lip butters one bit. They do exactly what it says on the tin and I can’t get enough of them! Once on, I would say they last about 1-2 hours but they are easy to put on and you don’t need to worry about smudging or bleeding. They are also extremely hydrating and there are a variety of shades for day or night time looks.
All in all, these get a big thumbs-up from me!
Have you tried the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters? What is your favourite shade?
