A WEE LIFE UPDATE

Hello my loves, it’s been a wee while hasn’t it. The past couple of months I’ve taken a bit of a break from blogging…completely unintentional but 100% needed to be completely honest. Work life has been busy and we also finally set a date and booked our wedding (wahooo!) That in addition to the fact we’re still trying to do things to the house means that it’s been pretty much non stop for us. Not that I’m complaining. I love being busy! However, I’ve really missed sharing life (and all things fashion/beauty of course) in this little corner of the internet so I want to get back into my usual routine. Firstly with blogging and secondly with my weekly youtube content – how on earth did I used to manage two videos a week as well as blogging?! Those really were the days haha.

Anyways, we officially become Mr and Mrs on Sat 27th Feb 2021 so we have a whole year and a half to get planning. That might seem like a while but in wedding terms it really isn’t. I’ve been finding that things get booked as early as 3 years in advance…no joke! After we booked the venue, made a few other inquiries and worked this out, we I dived head first into the planning and I’ve been really loving it. I think because we had a long engagement and wanted to wait until we’d moved house, now just feels ‘right’ if you know what I mean. So I thought that in addition to my usual content, as well as home updates (yes, those are definitely coming haha) I thought I might throw in some wedding planning and share some steps along the way here on the old blog. What do you think? Hopefully you guys agree that it’s a good idea because Im excited to start a new chapter and bring you guys and gals along with me!

Enough blabbering from me. In the spirit of “getting back into things” I’m going to give you the deets on this rather beaut wee outfit – how cute?! This is my favourite thing to wear on warmer days. Stretchy (but super cute) airy polkadot trousers,  oversized white tee that’s big enough to knot, all finished off with the perfect accessories – these beaut little metallic sandals from M&Co and gorgeous little white rattan bag from Amerii, which might just be my new favourite online shop for Summer rattan bags! One of the things I love most about blogging is that I get to discover so many lovely brands that I might not have heard about otherwise and this is definitely one of those. I’ve been wearing this bag non-stop. It’s the perfect Summer ‘throw on and go’, ‘big enough for essentials but not the kitchen sink’ type of bag. It will also be so perfect for holidays!
