This weekend, Darren and I were invited to the wedding of one of my good friends so I thought I would show you what I wore 🙂
I had been checking the weather all week and it was set to be a miserable day but by some stroke of luck the weather was gorgeous (that’s Glasgow weather for you)! The wedding was held in Sherbrooke Castle in Glasgow which was a beautiful venue, and the bride and groom were just gorgeous 🙂
As it was a summer wedding I wanted to wear something quite bright but nothing too out there, so I decided to wear a neutral coloured dress with nude heels and bag and added a pop of colour with this bright neon orange blazer from River Island. I got this blazer for my birthday last year and never had the chance to wear it so thought now was the perfect opportunity. When I saw this dress I knew straight away I needed to buy it for the wedding! I love the quilted material and the shape of it!
Jewellery wise, I kept things quite simple opting for my Michael Kors watch, my gold and rose gold customised bangles and my new YSL Arty Ring. I have been wanting to get this ring for so long but have never been able to get my size but whilst browsing on the Selfridges website last week I saw it – the colour I wanted, in the size I needed annnnnd it matched my wedding outfit…it was meant to be!!!
I hope you enjoyed this wedding outfit post. As I’m sure you can understand, I decided not to post any photos of the bride and groom or their wedding venue as it was their special day afterall and not mines to share 🙂

Love the neon blazer, it really adds to the overall outfit. And no, no wedding to go to 🙁 I’m so disappointed as most people I know have too many! I need my friends to marry off and quick!
