Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade (Cult Beauty) £15 |
When I first heard about the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade I was really intrigued to try it out…anything that claims to be smudge proof and waterproof for the eyebrows, I need to try it. I decided to do a first impressions and demo as I really enjoy watching these types of video, especially if I’m in two minds whether or not to try out a new product on the market.
What Anastasia say…
“Waterproof brow colour ideal for sculpting, defining, and carving perfectly precise brows that won’t fade. Smudge-free, creamy formula glides on skin and adheres to hair. Must-have for oily skin and humid climates.”
The dipbrow pomade comes in 5 colours: Blonde, Auburn, Chocolate, Dark Brown & Ebony. For reference I chose the shade ‘dark brown’. I was torn between dark brown and chocolate but chocolate looked like it might be too warm and as I have a slightly ashier tone to my brows, the dark brown looked like it might be a better match. As I was guessing from online swatches, I’m now not sure whether I would have been better off with the lighter shade. I also did a comparison in the video of me wearing Mac Charcoal Brown eyeshadow on one brow and the dipbrow on the other brow because I’m unsure whether I prefer the finish of the shadow or the pomade. I’d love for you to let me know what you think! 🙂
You can buy the pomade from Cult Beauty, but I’m afraid to say I think you might have to go on a waiting list because they’ve been selling out like hot cakes!
I hope you enjoy the video, remember to subscribe and give the video a ‘thumbs up’ if you like it!
You can watch the video here.
What do you think of the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade? Do you prefer this look to an eyeshadow or should I stick with Mac Charcoal Brown?
Lots of love,
