PINK NAILS…RIMMEL ISN’T SHE PRECIOUS?

It’s very rare for me to stray from my usual reddish black toned nails and opt for a barbie pink tint (feels head)…do I have a fever? Nope. I don’t know what it is but I simply can’t get enough of this colour. Maybe I have New York Fashion Week to blame for my obsession with pastel hues at the moment. Who knows, but I like it!
Rimmel Salon Pro has to be one of my favourite types of nail polish at the moment. The gel like formula includes Lycra which gives the lacquer an extra shiny finish and is a dream to apply. The brush is really wide too so a couple of sweeps and my nail is coated. As for colour, I find it to be extremely opaque so you could probably get away with one coat if you were in a rush, but I always opt for two as I find it makes the colour really pop. What I love most about this is the finish, it’s unlike any other nail polish that I own – the formula is quite thick, but not gloopy in the slightest, and once dry it looks almost as good as a gel manicure! I also like to top mines off with a top coat of Seche Vite for some extra shine. Rimmel say that it can last up to 10 days…I can’t vouch for that because I like to change my nails every 3-4 days. What I can say though, is that the colour stays true throughout and doesn’t fade like a lot of  nail polishes I own. I also find that by the time I remove it, I don’t notice any chips – it’s more just a little scuffed looking at the tips which I can deal with.
I think I’m going to invest in a few more of the lighter shades in this line because I really do love them…also, did I mention how great this colour looks with a tan? Pass me some Xen someone…
What do you think of this shade? Have you tried any of the Rimmel Salon Pro nail polishes?
Lots of love,
Chantelle xx
P.S. I will be uploading a new outfit video tomorrow! 🙂
