Fast forward 5 months from this post and yes, I am still madly in love with cutout booties…Topshop cutout booties to be precise. I spotted these during one of my usual (daily) online browsing sessions and it was love at first sight. Unlike the Arabel boots, I find these can be dressed up a whole lot easier, especially for a night out. They are quite heavy but unbelievably comfortable considering I have really sensitive feet that blister at the sight of some shoes! Annnnd to make things even better, they are an amazing dupe of the Acne Lila Boots which are around $600!
I was meeting up with one of my friends last night for dinner, drinks and a catch up so thought that these, teamed with my Topshop ripped jeans, leather jacket and some gold jewellery would do the trick. I do think this outfit is a bit too ‘all black’ for me, so if I had time to change to a white top I would have done…unfortunately if you are me, you are always running late, rushing out of the door and never have a spare second to do a simple top change! Ah well, if anyone asked, I was channelling my inner rock chick…I’m happy with that!
