So I finally caved and bought ‘that pink Topshop coat’, and you know what…I don’t even feel guilty (worried emoji face). I was sceptical at first about the pink coat trend because in all honesty I thought to myself “how much wear really am I going to get out of a pink coat?” BUT, when I saw this Topshop one I knew I needed to buy it. What stood out to me most was the colour…not a dusky pink or baby pink like a lot I’ve seen, but more of a dark coral – perfect for my colouring. I also find it to be extremely versatile. It’s the type of coat I can wear for a night out, thrown over a party dress or oppositely thrown over a chunky knit, jeans and chunky boots for a day shopping. It’s not the thickest or warmest wool coat I have in my wardrobe but with a chunky knit underneath it’s perfect, besides it’s just gorgeous so it’s a price I’m willing to pay. The sizing is on the big side – it’s supposed to be a looser fit than your standard coat because it’s a boyfriend fit but I find that this style swamps me so I had to size down and also went for the petite version and it’s still loose so it’s perfect!
