If there’s a sure fire way to get rid of the January blues it’s date night! 🙂 On Friday night, the boy and I decided that we would get out for a couple of hours and headed into Glasgow City Centre. We went to a bar called Slouch – it has a really chilled out atmosphere with great food (the burgers are ah-mazing) and the cocktails are even better. Despite it being a Friday night, the dining area is always reasonably quiet – they keep this separate from the bar area until a certain time to make sure that people who want food can eat away from the hustle and bustle of the bar area. I really love going there for date nights, or when Darren and I just want to get out of the house. It’s not the type of place I’d probably go to with my girlfriends for a night out, but for nights when you just want to listen to good music with a nice chilled atmosphere and have a good chinwag, Slouch is the place to go!
If you watched my Top 13 Products of 2013 video then you might remember me saying I was going to aim to upload twice per week (but at least once weekly) so I thought I’d share another Get Ready With Me! I really love watching these types of videos and enjoy filming them so hopefully you enjoy them too. As it was a Friday night I didn’t want to dress too casual but at the same time, Slouch isn’t the type of bar where you need to make a huge effort so I opted for my Topshop Boiler Suit which I am actually in love with! There are full lengths photos of me wearing this at the end of the video. Can I just say, this is possibly the comfiest outfit I’ve worn on a night out ever and the elastic waist came in incredibly handy after the beast of a burger I ate in Slouch (sorry not sorry).
