There’s no denying I love an all white outfit, especially when Spring/Summer comes around so today I thought we’d talk all about the little white dress. It’s probably one of the most versatile things you can pick up this season because if you get the style right, a good white dress can see you throughout the whole of Spring/Summer. I don’t usually opt for midi dresses or skirts but I absolutely love this white midi dress from Zara with wooden buttons. As soon as I spotted it I snapped it up. It’s the perfect throw on and go type of dress. It’s super easy to dress down with some white trainers but equally as easy to smarten up. For something more smart/casual pop on some ankle boots like my favourite Topshop Camel cowboy boots and for an even chicer look you could throw on some strappy sandals and a blazer for a Summer date night. The options are endless.
I wore this outfit recently in Edinburgh. It was a scorching hot day and we had booked afternoon tea. We didn’t know how warm it was going to be at the time or we might have skipped this part in favour of a beer garden instead! However it turned out to be such a lovely day. Following our afternoon tea we had a wander around Edinburgh and I loved how the look came together in the end. Super simple, yet comfy and stylish at the same time. The fabric feels quite heavy so it hangs really well (and doesn’t blow up easily – thanks Scotland) but it’s also really airy at the same time…does that make sense? The short version…it’s a dream to wear!
Let me also take this opportunity to introduce you to my new love – my brand new Furla Mini Metropolis bag which was so kindly gifted to me by Brandsty. If you haven’t heard of them they sell loads of designer handbags (and clothes) at discounted prices – Furla, Fendi, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana you name it. They have so many to choose from. I was really spoiled for choice but decided to go for the white Furla Mini Metropolis because it will look amazing with my whole Spring/Summer wardrobe! I don’t have many small bags so this has actually slotted into my wardrobe so well. It’s the perfect size for all the essentials without overpacking and if you couldn’t already tell from my instagram I’m a little bit obsessed with it. This bag in particular cost £195 which worked out around £50 cheaper that the RRP plus you’re also getting an extra 15% on top of that which is amazing. If you’re in the market for a new bag definitely check them out and use the code ‘AMAZING15’ at the checkout for your 15% discount. You’re welcome…wink wink. Sorry I know I’m an enabler but a handbag is for life if you look after it am I right?
